We’ve had such a great time this weekend at Sidmouth Folk Festival – and all is set for a great week ahead! The weather is just right – not too hot, not too cold, no sign of rain. And the atmosphere is even better! There’s a great buzz around town, in the streets and along the seafront, with smiling faces enjoying the opportunity to join together again for a live, in-person festival, and to soak up the music, dance, song and great fun.

We are now looking forward to a dream week ahead at the 68th Sidmouth Folk Festival with so many superb headline concerts, dances and special shows with some truly outstanding artists in their fields, including Ham shows with folk heavyweights Kate Rusby and Spiers & Boden, Quebecois livewires Yves Lambert Trio and the ever-wonderful Spooky Men’s Chorale (tonight). There are Big Nights Out at the Bulverton with Edward II, Peatbog Faeries, Grace Petrie and a very entertaining Silent Live Ceilidh with The Urban Folk Theory plus a plethora of ceilidhs, Children’s Festival fun, youth sessions, concerts on smaller stages featuring rising talent, traditional singers and musicians and more.
