Sidmouth Folk Festival will be following advice and guidelines provided by the Government and East Devon District Council.
The Festival will
Clearly communicate via Guidance Notes to customers, that they should not attend the event if they have been told to isolate, have tested positive recently or have symptoms (or anyone they live with has symptoms). Please see “Guidance for Attending”. .
Put in place a plan to communicate Covid protocols to our customers: crowd Management strategies, one ways, controlled access, queue management outside venues and signage.
Install queuing systems by caterers / bars / toilets / entry where viable.
Provide signage to encourage space when queuing, face coverings, use of hand sanitiser etc.
Implement a thorough cleaning regime.
Provide Hand cleansing/hand-sanitising facilities.
Encourage attendees to wear face coverings in crowded areas.
If there is a positive case or one with symptoms on-site the Festival’s medics will assess them and then advise them to isolate and get a PCR test.
