Milkweed are a self-described ‘slacker trad’ duo, a term that hints at their lo-fi approach to recording music. Their songs appear and disappear and their faces rarely appear in photographs. As a recent reviewer for Klofmag described, ‘The entity known as Milkweed exists, but not in the same way that other bands exist.We don’t know the names of either member, not because of some artistic whim, but because they have genuinely managed to separate the idea of self from music making.’
