This venue is just off the High Street, near the Dissenting Meeting House and Conservative Club.
Afternoon dance workshops and evening Family Shows take place in the Church Hall adjacent to All Saints Church.
The Old School Room is the home of the Youth Festival.

The Anchor Inn is a family-owned pub, with garden, in the heart of town, just off Market Square.
Ceilidhs are held in the garden at lunchtime and in the late afternoon, and there’s an outdoor bar with a range of local beers and lagers. The Anchor organises its own programme of live music in the afternoons and evenings, and Fringe events are held upstairs and inside the pub.
The Garden entrance is located to the left of the pub building.
There is level access to the garden and outdoor bar, which is mainly tarmacked with some steep/rough areas.

In the heart of town, and adjoining the Manor Pavilion theatre, the ground-floor Arts Centre is home to talks, concerts and workshops.

The Arts Centre is located at the Corner of Station Road and Manor Road. There is Flat access from side path from Manor Road, or two steps and sloped front path, from Station Road side. Manor Road is an inclined road.
Bar, Toilets and Disabled toilets at Manor Pavilion Theatre, which is accessed via the side path to Manor Road then into the main entrance foyer of the theatre.

Blackmore Gardens, Blackmore Drive, Sidmouth, EX10 8LQ
Blackmore Gardens is a park right in the town centre, just off the High Street.
Blackmore Gardens Marquee hosts morning Folk Dance workshops and evening ceilidhs with open access Dance Displays and Workshops in the afternoons. Also Craft Fair, Music Fair, Bar and Catering with street theatre, processions and pop-ups. Peacock Lawn, home of the Children’s Festival, is adjacent to Blackmore Gardens.
Enter from Blackmore Drive or through parish churchyard. Access over grass/trackway to venue spaces, small curbs from pavement to grass.

In a field off Station Road, Sidmouth, EX10 9DW
It is a large Marquee at the top end of a sloped field, opposite the Festival Campsite. Betsy’s Bar is in the adjoining marquee. There is a campfire area outside. The field has two entrances; one opposite the Festival Car Park and one by foot up through the field from Station Road, opposite the Campsite.
The Bulverton is a standing venue that hosts high energy Roots events, Late Night Extra ceilidhs and daytime workshops. Betsy’s Bar is in the adjoining marquee. There is a campfire area outside hosting storytelling and sessions.
The entrance for patrons walking from Station Road is a steep walk over a grass field. There is flat access over trackway from paved entrance next to the Festival Car Park. The festival car park is NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues because the walk to the bus stop is uneven and sloping.
The Bulverton is about 1.5 miles (uphill, about 40 mins walk) from The Ham on the Sea Front. By far the best way to get there is the Festival Bus service. Walking on the road to the Bulverton can be hazardous, especially in the dark. Please do consider the route that you take, as the main road by the Campsite is busy and doesn’t have a pavement for half a kilometre.
Festival Bus Service: The Bus runs all day between the Bulverton/Campsite and the Triangle Bus Stop in town. Buses leave every 20mins (on the hour, 20 mins past, 40 mins past) or sooner if full. The first bus leaves the campsite at 8am, the last bus leaves the Triangle at 2.10am. The bus is wheelchair accessible.

Disabled parking: spaces available in the field next to the Bulverton Marquee – blue badger holders should simply drive through the Festival car park and talk to the stewards at the gate who will advise where to park.
Kennaway House, The Triangle, Coburg Road, Sidmouth, EX10 8NG
The Cellar Bar is the basement bar at Kennaway house, in the centre of the town.
The Cellar Bar is a basement level concert venue that is home to intimate concerts including the ‘Cellarful of Folkadelia’ afternoon sessions and The EFDSS Presents concerts.
Access is at the side of the building. Once inside, the disabled access to the downstairs Cellar Bar is via lift.

Connaught Gardens, Peak Hill Road, Sidmouth, EX10 8RZ
Dance displays, and some choir performances take place throughout the week at Connaught Gardens at the West end of the Esplanade.
Access is mainly step free with some slight slopes. Two of the entrances into the Gardens are step-free but both involve steep slopes.

Guide Centre, Lawn Vista, Sidmouth, EX10 9BB
A guide hut located on the bend in the road at Lawn Vista and Woolcombe Lane. It is slightly outside town, near The Volunteer Pub.
Guide Hut hosting Youth events and workshops programmed by Shooting Roots with Stream of Sound. Our new home for Ballad Sessions and Folk Arts Acoustic, the Guide HQ also plays hosts to An Hour with… acoustic shows and workshops.
There is Level access and a small ramp up to the double door.

The Ham, Sidmouth, EX10 8BG
Located on the Ham Recreation Ground at Port Royal, on the Eastern end of the sea front, alongside the River Sid.
Main concert marquee venue programmed with three headline concerts each day. The Ham provides a comfortable seated-venue for three first class concerts each day – lunchtime, afternoon and evening. Most concerts feature a headline act playing 60-90 minutes plus a support act playing 30-40 minutes before an interval.

Located close to the seafront at the West end of the town, near Connaught Gardens.
A new venue for 2024, the Connaught Suite at the Harbour Hotel hosts afternoon and evening concerts and some special one-off events.
Level access from front of Hotel (via Manor Road which is an inclined road) or stepped footpath up from Peak Hill Road.

Manor Pavilion Theatre, Manor Road, Sidmouth, EX10 8RP
In the heart of town, and host to a programme of shows and special performances, the Manor Pavilion is a charming theatre with comfy raked seating and bar.

Level access at entrance, spaces in the theatre for wheelchairs. The Manor Pavilion is on an inclined road. Wheelchair seats are located on ground level and there is step-free access. There are some steps on the way to the bar, however there is a stairlift. The theatre has a loop aid hearing system that audio to visitor’s hearing aids.

The Church is used for daytime workshops and some evening concerts. The Church Hall is used for folk dances and workshops.

The home of the Children’s Festival and where you will find Star Marquee, Peacock & Seagull Marquees and the Rainbow Tent. There’s a full daily programme of workshops and activities for Children and families, held in marquees and tents on the lawn. It’s a safe, secure, and welcoming family area where daytime events and activities can be enjoyed free of charge.
