• Lady Maisery & Jimmy & Sid – Wakefire: morris, mayday and magic, ritual, rave and cider with Rosie! Two of the most engaging and inventive acts on the English folk scene collaborate on this essential incantation to the summertime.

• Grace Will Lead Me Home: A powerful show featuring Angeline Morrison, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, Jon Bickley & John Palmer.

• Fire & Dust – A Woody Guthrie Story: a journey into the heart and soul of one of America’s finest folk musicians, a new song-cycle by Reg Meuross with Phil Beer, Geraint Watkins & Marion Fleetwood.

• Chopped Liver & Unions: Stirring songs of struggle and solidarity.

• Three Acres and a Cow: A history of land rights through folk song and storytelling.

• Where There’s Brass – Tom Kitching & Marit Fält: a love letter to the waterways.

• 200 Years of the Squeezebox – John Kirkpatrick: Celebrating two centuries of button and bellows brilliance!

• The Folk Roots of Bagpuss – Sandra Kerr: folk traditions behind the iconic childhood classic.

Great to have @gadarenemusic with us this summer!

They take old English tunes, add their own sprinkling of ideas, modern dance grooves and music production to revitalise and energise these stunning tunes into something new. They create a sophisticated and exciting performance, drawing on many diverse musical influences, yet making a sound that is all their own. Band members are Nick Wyke (Fiddle), Matt Norman (Mandolin), Jon Dyer (Flute), Laurel Swift (Double Bass / Clogs) and Si Paull (Drum).
