camus
Camus is a traditional folk band, named after a village in County Galway, featuring Greg Smith (fiddle, viola), Edric Ellis (Northumbrian smallpipes, border pipes), Andrew Burn (melodeons, vocals, Northumbrian small pipes), Brian Cleary (guitar, vocals, bouzouki) and David Somerville (keyboard, Northumbrian small pipes). They play an exciting mix of traditions, with influences from Northumberland, Ireland and Shetland, a dash of bluegrass and Galician, and their own tunes and songs.
