Due to the extended dry weather there is a HIGH risk of accidental fires in the countryside. Sidmouth Folk Festival request that no disposable barbeques are used on the campsite under any circumstances.

All cooking stoves /cookers MUST be off the ground.

Additional water butts have been placed around the campsite – these must not be used to deposit rubbish in.

Smokers must ensure they do not drop their lit cigarettes onto the ground as fire can spread easily even on short grass.
