Kestrel Morton & Huelwen Williams

Kestrel Morton and Heulwen Williams have collaborated together for the last 6 years, exploring different ways to blend music and storytelling. Kestrel Morton is a queer, non-binary storyteller based in South Wales and usually found bewitching audiences with spider-web tales spun from the echoes of the wild, blurring reality with myth and drawing the otherworld close. They’ve performed on stages, in caves, at festivals and in raves across the UK, and most recently touring their show Binderella with The Ragged Storytelling Collective.

Heulwen Williams is a queer, non-binary Welsh multi-instrumentalist and songwriter creating new music drawing from nature, ecology, myth and folklore of lands, languages, seasons, sea and sky. Alongside their solo work, their collaborations include composing and performing the music for the show Binderella with The Ragged Storytelling Collective, the Rewilding Cinderella project that performed at the Brighton fringe, and for experimental devised theatre.
