The Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band is a living embodiment of the glittering land of Rajasthan, the jewel set in the golden sands of the barren Thar Desert. This band is a spectacular celebration of Rajasthan’s vibrant and colourful lifestyle, their music and dance a heady, exciting and hypnotic reflection of this enchanting region.

Volunteer Applications for the 2025 Festival are now Open!

Come and try volunteering. It’s a great way to save money, meet new people and get to know how the festival works behind the scenes. We have some amazing people who have been volunteering for 60 years or more, but we always welcome fresh faces to come on board.

It’s a wonderful, historic, quirky event – colour and spectacle, brilliant music and a lovely, friendly atmosphere, all in a beautiful old Devon seaside town.

If you stay for the whole festival it’s like a seaside summer holiday! But if you can only join us for a couple of days still get in touch, we can usually accommodate that too.

Oh, I do like to be beside the CIC

If you were at the 2024 festival, you will know we’ve been working behind the scenes to establish the festival as a Community Interest Company (CIC). This will reinforce our not-for-profit status and our commitment to the communities we serve, both in and around Sidmouth, and within the national folk scene.

The final steps are now complete and we can’t wait to start the New Year as a fully-fledged not-for-profit CIC.
