Michael McGoldrick and Tim Edey are two of the most celebrated names in Celtic folk music.
Former BBC Folk Awards Musician of the Year Michael McGoldrick is a renowned multi-instrumentalist, composer and leading player of the wooden flute, low whistles and uilleann pipes. A long-time collaborator of Mark Knopfler and member of the Transatlantic Sessions, he is also a founder member of Lúnasa and has performed with Capercaillie. His innovative style blends Irish traditional music with influences from jazz, funk and world music.
Tim Edey is an award-winning guitarist and melodeon player who has toured with artists including The Chieftains, Seamus Begley and Natalie MacMaster. First meeting in 1996, these two old friends combine exceptional musicianship, energy and creativity to deliver a truly memorable live performance.
