Mikey Kenney has taken up residence as a quietly influential figure within the emerging revival of the English experimental folk scene winning audiences over with his warm energy and dynamic musicality. A respected fiddle player, singer, songwriter and composer from Liverpool, and a versatile multi-instrumentalist, Mikey frequently performs many of the parts on his recordings, including banjo, mandolin, guitar and melodeon.
Tiny Little Light (2025) brings together original fiddle tunes with songs rooted in traditional forms but expanded through adventurous arrangements and instrumentation.
