Belgian folk favourites Naragonia bring their glorious melodies, rich arrangements and irresistible dance music to launch the week in style.

The Naragonia Quartet has been touring since 2006 and is much more than an instrumental extension of the duo. With a unique repertoire and sound, the quartet quickly became very popular.

Maarten Decombel (mandola and guitar) and Luc Pilartz (violin) combine with Toon Van Mierlo and Pascale Rubens to create a powerful, distinctive, and dynamic universe.

The Naragonia Quartet has recorded three CDs, all of which were enthusiastically received both at home and abroad. They have performed all over Europe and are a highly sought-after group for concerts and festivals, both nationally and internationally.

“Naragonia are the Holy Grail. They have achieved that very elusive thing. A brilliant dance and concert band. This comes as no surprise to me as they have the perfect ingredients. Brilliant melodies, tasteful arrangements and glorious musicianship.” Andy Cutting (musician)
