Simon Care All Stars Band
Simon Care, known for his exploits with some of the UK’s finest ceilidh bands, including The Albion Dance Band, Tickled Pink, Banter, Whapweasel and The Cock and Bull Band, occasionally pulls together his impromptu All Star line up.
For this years Sidmouth he has called on the services of Phil Beer (Show of Hands), Mark Jolley (Banter and Feast of Fiddles) and Guy Fletcher ( Tickled Pink, Little Johnny England and TradArrr) as his core band. They will visit material from Simon’s vast English Ceilidh repertoire, and will be joined onstage by some other significant musicians. Those that have expressed an interest include Tim Edey, Eliza Carthy, David Eagle, Bryony Griffiths, Nina Zella, Saul Rose, Tim Walker and maybe even more.
It promises to be an extremely enjoyable evening and we will also be playing for Northamptonshire’s very own Moulton Morris in the break
