On the first Friday (3rd Aug), seminal Brit folk-rock fiddle player and ex-Bellowhead squeeze-meister Peter Knight & John Spiers perform, with funnyman poet Les Barker in support (Included in Week and Weekend tickets at no extra charge).

2018 BBC Radio Two Folk Singer Of The Year Karine Polwart draws the listener in like a fireside storyteller. Support comes from fast-rising African-Canadian banjo player and singer, Kaia Kater.

One of the finest exponents of traditional Irish songs, Co. Derry native Cara Dillon has a pure and distinctive vocal style. Extraordinary young fiddle player Ryan Young supports, with powerhouse musician Jenn Butterworth.

Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening: a new direction for the world-renowned Northumbrian piper, with the oldest tunes and songs from her beloved North East given a global and contemporary perspective. Irish Ye Vagabonds’ support with their gorgeous sibling harmonies and gentle acoustic warmth.

Festival Patrons and all-round stars Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes offer their annual Sunday night gift of acoustic mastery and song-writing brilliance, plus dazzling support from Kit Hawes & Aaron Catlow.

Blowzabella celebrate 40 years of their inimitable and pioneering drone-based wall-of-sound drawing on English and European traditions with special guest, Devon singer Jim Causley.

10th anniversary concert celebrating Before The Ruin, the collaborative album between three of Scotland’s best current writers and performers: Drever, McCusker, Woomble with support from 2017 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award Winners Josie Duncan & Pablo Lafuente.
