Tim Edey

Guitar and melodeon player Tim Edey won The BBC ALBA Scotland Best Traditional musician in 2020, and was the BBC Radio Two Musician of the year in 2012 . Tim brings musical virtuosity, effervescent performance and a sense of fun to the stage. His shows celebrate Celtic, folk and traditional music plus incorporate gypsy jazz and classical. Tim needs no introduction to lovers of folk, roots and Celtic music, having performed with most of the major names in Irish and Scottish music, as a performer in his own right, a go-to musician for the likes of The Chieftains (2011-2019) and Sharon Shannon and Carlos Nunez. Tim’s new album is due for release in Spring 2024.
