Phil Tyler & Sarah Hill

Phil Tyler (guitar, banjo, voice) and Sarah Hill (voice) are a duo from Newcastle who perform mainly traditional English songs & tunes with beauty, clarity & inventiveness. Their songs are mostly from the English tradition, with a few Appalachian and original pieces, many in harmony and with accompaniment on guitar, banjo and other instruments. Phil and Sarah’s album What We Thought Was A Lake Was A Field Of Flax was released in 2022.
