Ryan Young has gained international acclaim for his captivating fiddle interpretations. With a musical focus on traditional Scottish tunes, he breathes new life into age-old and sometimes forgotten melodies through his unique approach. His fiddle artistry is characterized by fresh melodic innovations, an infectious rhythmic energy, and an impressive range of dynamics and precision. In 2018, Ryan received a Horizon Award nomination at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and was voted Folking.com’s Musician Of The Year. In 2023 Ryan toured the USA and 2024 sees him touring the world with concerts from Australia to Austria.
